Perform echocardiograms and verify completeness of patient examination prior to submission to Cardiologist. Maintain diagnostic equipment in good working order and notify Supervisor or Director of any equipment in need of repairs. Record inventory and order supplies as needed. Distribute and file all reports. Demonstrate ability to perform quantitative measurements of data obtained from the on mode tracings. Take verbal orders for diagnostic testing from physicians and record orders in chart. Utilize order entry system to access and complete exams. Compile echo cardiology reports for physicians. Properly label and organize paperwork and/or tapes, CD for physician review. Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or GED required. Completion from an AMA accredited training program in 2D, color flow and M-Mode echocardiography, and CPR Certification. Registration as an echocardiographer is required. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

Registered echocardiographer and current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) certification required. Hours

Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Essential Functions
