Job Title: Project Controls Scheduler
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Type: 12 month Contract Compensation: $62.00 - $65.00 hourly Contractor Work Model: Hybrid
System One is currently seeking a Project Controls Scheduler on a 12 month contract position located in Minneapolis, MN.
Project Controls Scheduler Responsibilities
Serve as a skilled scheduler responsible for creating and maintaining project lifecycle schedules across multiple renewable energy projects (wind, solar, battery storage systems) and potentially thermal projects.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules for entire project lifecycles.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including large-scale capital projects.
Collaborate with PM's and departments (land rights, permitting, engineering, supply chain) to gather updates.
Ensure schedules reflect accurate progress and dependencies across entities.
Submit sample P6 schedule (PDF, redacted) as part of candidate evaluation.
Project Controls Scheduler Requirements
10+ years of scheduling experience with large-scale projects.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 (certification preferred)
Hands‑on experience creating, updating and modifying schedules.
Ability to manage multi‑million to billion‑dollar projects and complex scopes.
Strong understanding of project management principles.
Utility industry experience strongly preferred.
Industrial or construction scheduling background preferred.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
