Contract Duration:
Estimated 36-48+ month contract
Contract Rate:
$75.00 - $85.00/hr on W2
Requirements
Secret Clearance (Eligible)
Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years in Civil Engineering and equivalent experience in data center or mission‑critical facilities design
Experience managing hardware configuration baselines
Experience with Data Center Strategy, Planning, and Roadmap maintenance
Proficiency in building codes, regulations, and standards
Responsibilities
Evaluate existing infrastructure and recommend growth or upgrading actions for supporting devices
Identify and correct operational issues to optimize future building improvements
Coordinate logistics and meet with stakeholders to understand requirements on the milcon side
Align data requirements with existing deliverables, identify gaps, and update designs as needed
Lead and assist with design aspects of the CCC data center support systems including AC/DC power, UPS, HVAC, carrier infrastructures, cable plant, and overall layout
Produce architectural artifacts such as system design diagrams, recommendation justifications, and technical specifications
Communicate conceptual designs and maintain project documentation through all project phases
Create and review civil/structural/architectural design RFPs
Conduct site assessments, internal design meetings, and construction reviews
Collaborate with stakeholders to define processes and standards governing data center activities
Coordinate and control access and logistical support
Follow data center procedures and processes
Manage installation and maintenance of data center equipment
Ensure compliance with data center security protocols
