Overview

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Mission Integration Engineer to support satellite ground system integration for commercial and government space missions. This is a full-time hybrid position with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote. This role is part of the Mission Architecture team and is ideal for candidates with a strong background in space systems engineering, satellite operations, and cloud-based infrastructure. The position is based in Arvada, CO (preferred), with flexibility for candidates located in Los Angeles, CA or Washington, DC. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance. Responsibilities

Lead technical integration of spacecraft, ground stations, and cloud infrastructure Assess mission requirements and ensure seamless deployment Serve as the technical point-of-contact during customer onboarding Coordinate technical reviews and readiness milestones Develop and maintain interface control documents (ICDs) Verify requirements and support cross-functional collaboration Conduct mission simulations, training, and early orbit support Create mission support plans and resolve anomalies Qualifications

Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in space systems engineering or mission integration Hands-on experience with spacecraft ground systems and satellite operations Proficiency in cloud-based ground systems, scripting (Python, Bash), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and AWS GovCloud Active TS/SCI clearance Strong communication, multitasking, and customer engagement skills Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 (based on experience) Benefits Package Includes: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off (PTO), Sick Leave (as required by law) Note
