$53,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Develop, validate, and optimize CMM inspection programs for complex manufactured components.
Interpret engineering blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications to define accurate measurement strategies.
Operate CMM machinery to execute inspection programs and collect precise dimensional data.
Analyze measurement results, identify non-conformances, and generate detailed inspection reports.
Troubleshoot and debug CMM programs and measurement processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to resolve dimensional issues and improve product quality.
Perform routine calibration checks and maintenance on CMM equipment and software.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
Strong understanding and application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints and specifications.
Hands-on experience with CMM operation, setup, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with CAD software for model import and feature creation.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with other metrology equipment (e.g., vision systems, laser scanners).
Advanced proficiency in a specific CAD software beyond basic model import (e.g., CATIA, NX, SolidWorks).
Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles.
Lean / Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification.
