Electrical Maintenance Technician – Diboll, Texas

Our Electrical Maintenance Technicians are responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment within the mill to support the long‑term quality and production goals of the organization. The role also performs preventative maintenance to ensure electrical equipment reliability. Ideal candidates will have strong experience troubleshooting PLCs.
Shift Information 8‑hour rotating shifts on a modified Dupont schedule: 7am–3pm, 3pm–11pm, 11pm–7am. Every third Saturday 7am–3pm. Employees work 15 days per month and may be required to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.
Key Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and circuits.
Maintain, program, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
Maintain and troubleshoot circuits and components on pneumatic systems, control devices, and hydraulic equipment.
Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics to troubleshoot and install equipment.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
Basic Qualifications
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
Experience troubleshooting PLCs.
Two (2) years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
Experience with industrial test equipment (digital multimeters, ammeters).
Experience troubleshooting electrical systems at various voltages (DC, 3‑phase, medium voltage).
Preferred Experience
Installing, examining, replacing, or repairing VFDs and motor controllers.
Running conduit and installing electrical infrastructure to code.
Using PLCs and controls: identifying major components, wiring input/output cards, and reading ladder logic diagrams.
