Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and control circuits.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on industrial electrical equipment and components.
Install, modify, and upgrade electrical systems, wiring, and instrumentation in a manufacturing environment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols, electrical codes (e.g., NFPA 70E), and company policies.
Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and motor control systems.
Conduct inspections and tests to ensure proper functioning and compliance of electrical installations.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and PLCs.
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Thorough understanding and adherence to electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E) and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Experience with various electrical test equipment, including multimeters, ammeters, and megohmmeters.
Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), servo drives, and other automated control systems.
Demonstrated experience in performing preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and machinery.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with robotic systems maintenance and programming.
Proficiency in advanced PLC programming and HMI development.
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Certification or experience with predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., thermography, vibration analysis).
