Location:
Fargo, ND
Compensation:
$140K base, vehicle allowance, sign-on bonus and travel compensation ($200K guaranteed first year comp).
We have partnered with a top 50 ENR GC and are looking for an experienced
MEP Project Manager
to lead
mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP)
delivery on a 280MW
hyperscale data centre project . If you thrive in fast-paced, technically complex environments and enjoy leading multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver high‑availability systems on time and on budget, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do
Lead
MEP project delivery
across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems on data centre builds.
Coordinate contractors, specialist vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
Manage
project budgets, cost control, and cash flow
for MEP scopes.
Oversee installation and commissioning of mission‑critical systems, including:
Electrical:
HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, EPMS.
Mechanical:
Cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH, chilled water, DX, adiabatic, liquid cooling)
Plumbing:
Chilled water, condenser water, drainage, and process pipework.
Lead commissioning,
Integrated Systems Testing (IST) , and client handover.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and client standards across all MEP activities.
Act as the
primary MEP contact
for clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Who You Are
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent experience
Proven track record managing
MEP delivery on data centre or mission‑critical projects
(£5m+ packages)
Strong leadership and coordination skills across
multi‑disciplinary teams
Commercially savvy with experience managing budgets, contracts, and variations
Confident communicator, comfortable in client‑facing environments
Organised, proactive, and solutions‑focused with a commitment to safety and quality
