This position serves our institutional client base by handling lifecycle events for annuitants, including death claims processing, payout coordination, and modifications to future payments.
About The Role Our core mission is to help customers make meaningful decisions and protect their future. As a Customer Service Rep II you’ll handle inquiries through mail, fax, phone, and email, requiring customer‑centric service and detail‑oriented judgment. Working largely independently, you’ll coordinate with existing systems and procedures to manage Structured Settlement processes.
Responsibilities
Process death claims, payouts, and modify future payments
Respond to customer phone calls, mailed and faxes
Analyze and resolve moderate customer inquiries within quality guidelines
Enter key data for customer service requests with accuracy
Handle high‑priority requests quickly and accurately
Respond positively to written correspondence and email inquiries, exceeding expectations
Assist with paperwork for benefit transactions (both phone and mail)
Process additional participant change requests (address, EFTs, etc.)
Maintain benefits to ensure correct payments to payees
Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Skills and Qualifications
3 + years of insurance experience, preferably with immediate or deferred annuity products
Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
Customer‑ and team‑orientation
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Multitask and handle high volume with tight deadlines
Proficient in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Windows
College coursework preferred but not mandatory
Bi‑lingual a plus
Work Location Remote (optionally based in Amarillo, TX). This role is eligible for Corebridge’s hybrid policy, providing benefits of both office and remote work.
Compensation Salary range: $30 000 – $35 000 annually, based on location, experience, and qualifications. Eligible for discretionary bonus per incentive plan.
