Job Purpose

The Assistant Manager Business Operations supports strategic and tactical decision making by delivering data driven insights across pricing, program performance, forecasting, promotions, and business analytics. This role ensures accurate financial planning, effective program execution, and optimized pricing strategies to drive revenue growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer value. The position acts as a key liaison between cross functional teams to align analytical outputs with business objectives.

Key Accountabilities

Pricing Strategy and Execution Support the development and implementation of pricing strategies across product lines and services Conduct competitive pricing analysis and market research to inform pricing decisions Monitor pricing performance and recommend adjustments to optimize revenue and margin

Program Management Assist in the design, rollout, and performance tracking of promotional and incentive programs Collaborate with marketing, sales, and finance teams to ensure program alignment with business goals Evaluate program effectiveness using KPIs and provide actionable insights for improvement

Forecasting and Planning Manage the Seihan position as it pertains to forecasting models for sales, revenue, and customer demand Partner with the Operations Division Manager to align forecasts with budget planning and inventory management Identify trends and variances and provide recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities

Business Analytics and Reporting Analyze large datasets to uncover insights that drive strategic decisions Create and manage dashboards and reports to communicate performance metrics to stakeholders Support ad hoc analysis requests from leadership and cross functional teams

Industry and Market Support Support the business interests of Honda Marine globally by doing on the spot, attending trade shows, seeking industry knowledge, and bringing insights back to the Marine Group

Qualifications, Experience, And Skills Minimum Educational Qualifications Four year college degree in business or equivalent

Minimum Experience Comprehensive Microsoft Office skills with significant emphasis on Excel and SAP Power BI experience is highly preferred Three years of Business Operations experience with Marine focus preferred Three years of experience in sales or business management Ability to manage people and priorities in a fast paced environment Fluent in both English and Japanese

Other Job Specific Skills Strong communication skills including presenting, reporting, meeting facilitation, and influencing others Strong business acumen with excellent analytical and decision making skills
