Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records. Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions and side effects. Record patients’ medical information and vital signs. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ condition. Coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patient responses and conditions. Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity. Direct or supervise nursing or healthcare personnel or a unit. Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments. Instruct individuals, families, or groups on health education, disease prevention, and related topics; participate in health improvement programs. Prepare rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies; maintain stock. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions. Additional duties as assigned by the facility. Minimum Requirements
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi. Active CPR certification. Knowledge of state laws and regulations governing practice. Satisfactory completion of initial and annual clinical competencies. Benefits
