Position Summary
A Registered Nurse provides quality care per state practice act, manages nursing activities, and ensures a safe environment. The RN is a patient advocate, promotes best practices, and leads the nursing team. Responsibilities
Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records. Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions and side effects. Record patients’ medical information and vital signs. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient condition. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Modify treatment plans as indicated by patient responses and conditions. Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity. Direct or supervise less‑skilled nursing or healthcare personnel. Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments. Instruct individuals, families, or groups on health education, disease prevention, and health improvement programs. Prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, or supplies and maintain stock of supplies. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient condition. Attend training and meetings as required. Qualifications
Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or have graduated from an approved RN program. Must possess a current license in this state. Schedule
