Job Summary Seattle Medical Post Acute Care is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to be responsible for the maintenance and safety of our center, including Fire and Safety compliance.
Essential Functions
Implements and maintains established preventative maintenance programs.
Performs basic repairs to plumbing, electrical, and equipment.
Coordinates compliance with local, state, and federal codes and guidelines for safety and other relevant rules and regulations.
Conducts fire and disaster preparedness drills as required.
Coordinates annual maintenance programs.
Maintains inventory control for all general supplies parts and equipment.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Required: General experience in equipment maintenance
Required: Able to assess physical plant problems and respond
Preferred: Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing, copper, galvanized, and plastic pipe
Preferred: Basic knowledge of HVAC unit maintenance and repairs.
Preferred: Working knowledge of building codes, fire regulations, and emergency plant operations.
Demonstrated skills in construction techniques.
Knowledge of materials used in building construction and maintenance.
