Your role Reporting to the QC Supervisor – Finished Products, you will perform routine analyses, develop and validate methods, manage projects, and mentor junior staff. You will implement technical improvements to laboratory quality systems and provide technical resources.

Responsibilities

Perform, interpret, evaluate, and record routine and non‑routine analytical tests of materials, drug substances, and drug products following CGMP and FDA/USP guidance.

Execute protocols and experiments as written, review and approve laboratory data, and maintain instruments and equipment.

Ensure adequate supplies of test materials, perform routine calibration of instrumentation, and maintain training records.

Implement method development and validation, seek opportunities to improve existing methods, and lead investigations with minimal supervision.

Support laboratory systems, maintain compliance with SOPs, cGMPs, HS&E, and regulatory requirements (FDA, DEA, USP, EP, OSHA).

Develop and deliver training, monitor its effectiveness, document training, and recommend solutions for performance issues.

Qualifications

B.S. in Microbiology or Chemistry with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an FDA‑regulated laboratory, OR B.S. in life sciences with 5 years of laboratory experience.

Proficiency in method development and validation, chromatographic techniques (HPLC, GC, chiral separation), and spectroscopic techniques (MS, UV/Vis, FTIR).

Strong analytical skills, ability to evaluate data, perform trend analysis, and propose solutions.

Advanced computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and database management.

Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Ability to work independently, adapt standard procedures, and make decisions based on company policies.

Compensation B.S. compensation range: $60,000 – $70,000 USD.
