$80,000 - $95,000k Salary. Please note starting pay rates are determined based on years of experience and internal equity.

The Business Analyst supports organizational effectiveness and financial sustainability by analyzing industry trends, financial and operational data, improving business processes, and translating data insights into actionable recommendations. This role partners clinical and administrative teams to enhance performance, ensure responsible stewardship of resources, and advance the mission to deliver high‑quality, accessible healthcare.
What would I be doing at this job? Business & Financial Analysis
Analyze financial and operational performance across programs, departments, and service lines.
Identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
Prepare financial and business analyses, including variance analysis, cost modeling, and trend analysis.
Develop dashboards and reports to support leadership decision-making.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
Prepare financial forecasts, scenario models, and cash flow projections.
Assist department leaders with financial planning, budget monitoring, and performance analysis.
Support strategic initiatives through data‑driven financial and operational modeling.
Operational & Process Improvement
Evaluate clinic workflows, administrative processes, and resource utilization.
Partner with clinical and operational leaders to design and implement process improvements.
Analyze the financial impact of operational changes, new programs, or service expansions.
Grant, Program & Funding Analysis
Support financial analysis for grant‑funded and restricted programs.
Assist with grant budgets, financial reporting, and compliance monitoring.
Track use of restricted and unrestricted funds to ensure alignment with funder requirements.
Healthcare Data & Revenue Analysis
Analyze patient volumes, payer mix, reimbursement trends, and service costs.
Support revenue cycle and financial sustainability initiatives.
Assist with cost and margin analysis for clinical services and programs.
Compliance, Reporting & Audit Support
Ensure analysis and reporting align with nonprofit accounting standards (GAAP) and internal controls.
Support audit preparation and respond to data requests.
Maintain documentation supporting financial and business analyses.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in business analytics, finance, accounting, or a related field.
Three (3) years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, or related roles.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or data analysis tools and ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear insights for non‑financial audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with enterprise forecasting.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Knowledge of root cause analysis, workflow analysis, financial health indicators
