Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, setup, and commissioning of industrial robots and robotic systems.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspections on robotic equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic cells.
Execute repairs and replace defective components of robots and peripheral equipment.
Program and calibrate robots for specific manufacturing tasks and optimize existing programs.
Monitor robotic system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications.
Recommended Qualifications
Associate's degree or technical certificate in Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
2+ years of hands‑on experience with industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA) in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair complex robotic systems, including electrical, mechanical, and software issues.
Proficiency with PLC programming and logic, HMI interfaces, and other automation control systems.
Strong understanding of electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
Bonus Qualifications
Advanced programming skills (e.g., Python, C++, ROS) for robot integration or custom tool development.
Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for robotic guidance and inspection.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for cell layout or fixture design.
Certified training or extensive experience with specific robot brands (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA, ABB).
