X-Ray Technologist – Chandler – WEPP – Up to $30,000 Sign‑On Bonus
Job Summary
The Radiology Technologist (WEPP) will provide diagnostic imaging for patients and assist physicians in expediting needed care. Responsibilities include performing or assisting in procedures per department protocols; maintaining a clean and safe work environment; correctly identifying and marking images; ordering exams that match the procedures performed; and performing QA reviews to maintain professional standards for both themselves and student technologists. Customer service is essential, and the incumbent must meet the callback standards established for General Radiology.
Qualifications
Education: Associate’s Degree (AS)
Licenses/Registrations: Kentucky Radiation Operator’s License (at time of hire), Basic Life Support certification via AHA within 90 days of hire, ARRT certification (at time of hire)
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift/push/pull objects up to 50 pounds, stand or walk with objects up to 25 pounds, work in confined spaces, sit at a computer workstation for extended periods, and handle repetitive motions. Must be able to manipulate patients, equipment, and materials, and tolerate exposure to radiation and potential hazards.
Shift: Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Call/Scheduling: Calls required for this position; must meet General Radiology callback standards.
Compensation and Benefits
The starting hourly rate is $26.47, with pay based on experience. This position is eligible for a sign‑on bonus: $15,000 for new graduates (less than one year of experience) and $30,000 for candidates with one or more years of experience, contingent upon a 24‑month employment commitment.
