Turner Industries is looking for a Manufacturing Facility Maintenance Mechanic for a site in Galena Park, TX. Successful candidates will be local, and have experience in all aspects of maintaining and repairing various pieces of automated packaging and production equipment in a Packaging and Manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

Valve troubleshooting and repair. 1/2\" up to 10\" valves, screw pipe and welded

Experience with Actuators (electric and Pneumatic driven)

Experience with case erectors and de-palletizers

Experience with high-speed fillers

Electrical control troubleshooting and repair

Electrical distribution

Electric motors removal/replacement/alignment

Gear box assembly installation and removal/replacement

Pump repair (diaphragm and centrifugal)

Air compressors

Conveyor belt repair

Pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair

Hydraulic systems troubleshooting and repair

General, basic mechanical troubleshooting skills and background

Problem solving through inductive and deductive reasoning

Fabrication

Welding is a plus

Robotics experience is a plus

MUST have a valid driver's license
