$68,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize product designs using CAD software.
Create detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings and specifications.
Ensure designs meet manufacturing capabilities, cost targets, and quality standards.
Select appropriate materials and components for new and existing products.
Support prototyping, testing, and validation of design concepts.
Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and quality teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Analyze and resolve design-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical field
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo)
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication)
Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and GD&T principles
Experience with material selection and properties for industrial applications
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or other simulation software.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
Hands‑on experience with CAM software or machining processes.
Familiarity with additive manufacturing processes and design for additive manufacturing (DFAM).
