Serve patient meals on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, delivery and pickup.
Handle special requests and in‑between meal food delivery.
Communicate patient food issues, concerns, and needs to team members within the department and nursing staff.
Respond accurately and effectively to all changes to ensure efficient timing of services and accuracy of physician‑ordered modified diets.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).
No minimum experience required; six months of prior food service experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
No specific licensure or certification required.
