The business transformation project enabled by S/4HANA will help to shape Kimball Electronics for the future.
The person in the role will be expected to work with global project teams to ensure successful completion in accordance with defined standards.

This is an individual contributor role managing matrixed teams and requires leadership and influencing skills. The IT Project Manager role is within our KESS IT team at Kimball Electronics, Inc. (KEI) and reports to our Director of IT Business Partnership & PMO. This position is based in the company headquarters in Jasper, Indiana with options for remote or hybrid work.**Key Performance Objectives****Short Term: (0 to 3 months)*** Learn KEI Culture, people, and processes from a managerial perspective.* Build business relationships with KESS and business resources.* Become an active member of the KESS IT Team, and general familiarity with processes, procedures, standards including project management best practices.* Collaborate with current IT Project Managers on existing projects including the business transformation phase 0 assessment and building the three-year strategic roadmap.* Review and maintain system documentation in support of various business requirements and changes.* Participate and observe in any applicable fiscal year end audit tasks.* Gain familiarity with current state architecture.**Midterm: (3 to 6 months)*** Become a member of ERP transformation project team and collaborate with the integration partner to assume leadership of project management tasks to set timing, determine resource needs, approach, etc.* Gain understanding of the new SAP licensing model and assume ownership of compliance, audits, etc. as needed.* Establish and assume ownership of more modern SAP project management tools and processes to support the new architecture.* Support the evaluation and selection process for third party support as necessary.**Long term: (6 to 12 months and beyond)*** Take a lead role in the ERP transformation project and manage project delivery of multiple stakeholders, including third parties as needed.* Collaborate across teams to enable additional owned SAP toolsets, identify overlapping tool functionality, set standards, and evaluate cost saving opportunities.* Educate business users on available productivity tools and solutions, provide guidance, and foster a self-service culture.* Maximize end user digital adoption.* Embrace a continuous improvement mindset and collaborate with BU IT teams to identify areas of greatest opportunity.* Increase the awareness of tools we own and their capabilities.**Basic Background Requirements**This position will require:* Bachelor’s degree in technology or business* PMP or equivalent certification preferred* 3 to 5 years of Project Management Experience in multinational manufacturing company preferred* SAP S/4HANA implementation experience preferred* SAP ERP technical knowledge / experience preferred* Professional training including Six Sigma, ITIL or Lean are desirable* Experience with FDA GMP820 and Part 11 impact on IT work for medical device manufacturers is desirable* Ability to maintain 3rd party working relationships* A willingness to work flexible hours to support global business needs* Fluent in English language* Possess leadership competencies and proven ability to motivate teams and complete large-scale projects* Ability to work with all levels of the organization* Systems oriented* Ability and willingness to travel globally* Proven ability to earn trust of sponsors and key stakeholders*We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and consider qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital or family status, veteran status, medical condition or disability or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.**We will consider for employment qualified candidates with arrest and conviction records, consistent with applicable law (including, for example, the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance for roles based in San Francisco).*#LI-KESS1*The typical pay range for this role is**:
