Venturi, LLC A Chenega Company has a challenging career opportunity for a Senior Systems Analyst who will provide engineering support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Production team. This Analyst will focus on requirements definition, elaboration, and verification in support of Missile Defense framework, and Core Truth Model (CTM) software development to include software containerization development. The work will involve interaction between the Government and Prime Contractors in support of MDA’s M&S and integration and test programs. To ensure the effectiveness of this work, this individual will analyze the integration of systems engineering processes and methodologies.
Responsibilities
Develop and review Framework, RepBox, and CTM requirements and diagrams
Develop and review Framework and Missile Defense System Interface Control Documents (ICD)
Lead and facilitate technical discussions and collaboration activities with internal and external stakeholders to include Prime Contractors and the Missile Defense elements
Actively participate in Framework, RepBox, and CTM Program Agile Increment Planning activities
Develop and review verification and validation plan for CTM development and coordination with the accrediting organization
Draft and review technical documents, briefings, white papers, etc.
Play a role in overall functional strategic planning of Framework, RepBox, and CTM Systems Engineering (SE) processes within the organization
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MA/MS degree and 12+years of relevant experience OR a BA/BS degree and 20+ years of relevant experience
Experience to include:
Experience in model and simulation (M&S) development
Experience in Agile and Lean software development principles
Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts and applications
Experience in software containerization development concepts and applications
Experience in model and simulation verification and validation
Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience in Radio Frequency (RF) and Infrared (IR) signature models
Experience with environmental models and environmental states and effects
Experience with missile defense system (MDS) and/or threat system simulation and model testing processes
Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Experience with DoD and/or MDA acquisition and systems engineering
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
