We partner with manufacturers across Newaygo seeking Quality Supervisors who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit. Key Responsibilities
Supervise and mentor quality control personnel and technicians. Monitor and enforce adherence to established quality standards and procedures. Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Conduct regular product and process audits to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations. Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, report findings, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and optimize manufacturing processes. Oversee the calibration, maintenance, and proper use of inspection and test equipment. Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field. 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or control within a manufacturing environment, including supervisory experience. Proficiency in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D). Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a quality inspection team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration. Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification Experience with specific Quality Management System (QMS) software Lead Auditor certification (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) Job Titles That Should Apply
