We partner with manufacturers across Newaygo seeking Quality Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality control plans and inspection procedures. Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Perform internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001). Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools for process monitoring and improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Support new product introduction (NPI) through APQP activities and developing quality documentation. Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and associated documentation. Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or a related technical field 3-5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment Proficiency in core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D) Strong understanding and practical application of ISO 9001 or industry-specific quality management systems (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100) Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives Bonus Qualifications

Advanced proficiency with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for complex data analysis. Experience with automated inspection equipment programming (e.g., CMM, vision systems). Project management experience, particularly leading cross-functional improvement initiatives. Job Titles That Should Apply
