Company Description INERGIO SA is a cutting‑edge technology company based in Lausanne that specializes in designing and producing lightweight and compact fuel cells that can operate on a wide variety of fuels. Position Overview The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the design of a new pilot line and all daily operations of the manufacturing facility to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and cost‑effectiveness. This role involves managing production teams, maintaining equipment and facilities, enforcing compliance with company standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics.
Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with company goals for productivity and profitability.
Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Manage budgets, production schedules, and resource allocation to meet customer and business demands.
Analyze performance data and implement corrective actions to optimize plant efficiency.
Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Oversee maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime.
Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and quality departments to drive operational excellence.
Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance; promote professional growth within the plant team.
Lead and support process improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Strong knowledge of production management, maintenance systems, and process improvement methodologies.
Proven ability to manage budgets and achieve performance targets.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Proficient in ERP systems, production scheduling, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards.
