Resurgence Hall hosts a daily aftercare program exclusively for Resurgence Hall scholars. The aftercare program consists of supervising scholars during outdoor recess time, leading enrichment activities during after care, and monitoring scholars during quiet reading time as they wait for their families to pick them up. Responsibilities
Plan and lead an aftercare program for grades K-8; Provide a safe, inviting, exciting, innovative, learning environment after the school day; Plan and lead safe, organized, and exciting daily recess and community connections activities; Engage in effective and appropriate school-wide classroom management; Accept and incorporate feedback and coaching from administrative staff; Perform other duties, as deemed appropriate, by the Director of Operations and School Services Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent and above. This job is physically demanding and may require standing and walking for extended periods of time and lifting heavy objects up to 40lbs. At least 1 year prior experience teaching, coaching, or working with elementary or middle school aged children and experience teaching in a low-income community. Hours
12pm - 5pm, or 1pm-6pm Monday - Friday with additional mandatory paid hours for professional development Compensation
