THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE: The Sr Manager IT Product Development, MarTech (Adobe Experience Platform) is responsible for leading the delivery, technical execution, and continuous improvement of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) capabilities—including Real-Time CDP, Journey Optimizer, Customer Journey Analytics, and Target—to advance personalization at scale for Ulta Beauty. This role partners closely with product owners, engineers, enterprise architects, and business stakeholders to translate product roadmaps into technical delivery plans, ensuring features are developed with speed, quality, and measurable business value. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in MarTech platforms, strong execution leadership, and the ability to drive collaboration and alignment across a complex ecosystem using Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies. The Senior Product Development Manager provides technical leadership and solution architecture direction across Adobe Experience Platform capabilities, ensuring cohesive design and scalable platform development. This role serves as a hands-on technical owner—conducting analysis, validating architectural approaches, and driving technical decisions that support long-term platform health. Vision & Strategy

: In partnership with Product Owners and Engineering Leads, this role translates product roadmaps into actionable technical delivery plans and prioritized backlogs. It identifies opportunities to expand AEP capabilities, enabling richer personalization and customer experience outcomes while aligning with enterprise architecture and business strategy. : The role promotes Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) practices across teams, mentoring engineers and reinforcing iterative delivery, automation, and continuous improvement. It fosters an innovative environment where teams are empowered to experiment, adopt new technologies, and elevate engineering excellence. Business & Stakeholder Relationship Management

: This position collaborates closely with stakeholders to refine requirements, incorporate feedback, and ensure technical solutions deliver meaningful business outcomes. It also provides transparency to leadership by clearly communicating progress, risks, dependencies, and measurable value delivered. Innovation Leadership

: The Senior Product Development Manager evaluates new MarTech capabilities, pilots emerging technologies, and leads proof-of-concept efforts to unlock future-state capabilities. It contributes to governance frameworks and development standards that support scalability, compliance, and operational consistency across the platform. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Exercise independent judgment in driving product development and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with engineering on automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and ongoing quality assurance. Ensure delivery success at each iteration, including readiness for demos, UAT, and production deployment. Implement solutions across cloud environments utilizing Adobe AEP, RT-CDP, AJO, Target, CJA, Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure. Design new system architectures leveraging SaaS platforms, modular services, and scalable interfaces. Translate UI/UX designs and prototypes into production-ready experiences through collaboration with engineering teams. Define end-to-end technical requirements, system specifications, and process models supporting MarTech products. Partner with enterprise architecture to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and platform capabilities. ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or equivalent professional experience 7+ years’ experience managing technology teams in a complex environment Proven track record of leading large-scale, multi-million-dollar MarTech programs in global organizations. Deep knowledge of AEP components (RT-CDP, AJO, CJA, Target, Identity Service, and integrations). Experience driving technical and analytical teams Proven experience with agile (continuous delivery) and iterative methodologies Solid experience with hybrid & cloud environments Proven experience in eliciting requirements and enterprise automation Solid experience writing product development requirements and architecture Demonstrated experience in generating process modeling Understand life cycles across digital products and pilots Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges Excellent analysis/troubleshooting skills, able to solve problems efficiently Excellent communication skills; feels comfortable working with non-technical business partners Able to motivate others to drive desired results Strong experience in establishing business processes Demonstrated ability to present recommendations to senior leaders for effective decision making Work with consultants in an onshore / offshore model Proven track record of delivering high quality solutions on time and on schedule Flexibility of providing support during odd hours, weekends, and peak seasons Minimal travel required (training/conferences) The pay range for this position is $119,300.00 - $190,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
