$120,000 - $200,000 / year

Description Unmatched Comp Time Policy:

Hours worked over 40 in a week can be reimbursed as additional pay at an equivalent hourly rate or banked as additional PTO.

What are the core responsibilities for the role?

Design, evaluate, and check sheets/calculations for highway/railroad/pedestrian bridges/other transportation structures

Prepare designs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and specifications

Work in cooperation with bridge staff to deliver PS&E contract documents on time and within the project budget for local agencies, federal agencies, and state DOTs

Perform or check bridge designs using CSi Bridge, MIDAS, VBent, PG Super, LEAP, BRASS, Mathcad, and/or other bridge software

Establish and maintain client relationships; ensure client satisfaction; ensure client objectives are met

Build a strong regional presence for the firm in transportation and structural engineering

Structures lead for projects, coordinating staff and design efforts

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:

B.S. degree in Civil Engineering

Registered PE license

8 to 15+ years of experience

Willingness to work on projects locally or in workshare with other offices, some travel required– Must be able to work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients

Design Build and Alternative Delivery experience a plus

Established relationships with local clients (DOT) a plus

Solid understanding of transportation projects
