Methodist Physicians Clinic - Regency Address:
10060 Regency Circle, Omaha, NE Work Shift:
Monday through Friday, day shift, 32hrs/week, full time, hours between 8am - 5pm. Tech will float to various MPC locations to provide coverage. Role:
Performs diagnostic imaging examinations.
Responsibilities
Exam Performance/Quality – Identifies patient, provides comfort measures, critiques exam for accuracy.
Workflow Management – Provides department workflow management, reviews orders, assists physicians and coworkers.
Radiology Reception Duties – Answers phones, schedules appointments, enters orders and reminder calls.
Medical Record Clerk Duties – Performs radiology medical record clerk duties as needed.
Technical Systems – Uses RIS/Cerner, PACS, online worklist, digital dictation system; modifies orders and documents comments.
Department Policy/Procedures – Ensures proper patient identification on all study images, reports issues.
Clinical Enrichment – Provides on-the-job training and maintains professional relationship with students.
Confidentiality – Maintains patient confidentiality (HIPAA) and student confidentiality (FERPA).
Age Specific Competency – Provides age‑specific care and completes annual Age Specific Competency Quiz.

Job Requirements Education
Diploma/Associate degree from an approved American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART) School of Radiology Technology required.
Bachelor degree from an approved AART School of Radiology Technology preferred.
Experience
1 year of experience in Radiology preferred.
License/Certifications
Current and maintained license from the Department of Public Health (RAD.NE or RAD.IA) required.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registered or board eligible required.
Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 3 months of hire.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with patients, families, providers, and coworkers.
Analytical skills necessary to manage exposure factors and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physical Requirements Medium Work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force.
