Health Educator – Northeast Region Labcorp

is a leading provider of biometric testing services, population health and comprehensive workforce wellness strategies. These services are performed by a network of Labcorp personnel located throughout the country.

Summary Labcorp is seeking medical professionals to provide testing services at events. Once hired, staff can assign themselves to events in their area using the scheduling system. In addition, pre‑event comprehensive training on LES protocols is provided.

Testing services include biometric screenings, COVID‑19 PCR testing, COVID‑19 point‑of‑care antigen testing, and temperature checks. Staff are responsible for the successful setup, execution, and breakdown of events while providing exceptional customer service to participants.

Key Responsibilities

Review and explain participants’ screening results (height, weight, BMI, body fat percentage, waist measurement, blood pressure, total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, and glucose).

Proficient in providing brief interventions aimed to help participants understand actionable behaviors that influence their health.

Provide appropriate health recommendations as needed.

Keep records of interactions with screening participants as directed by the Labcorp Program Manager.

Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA.

Minimum Qualifications

MUST be a Certified Registered Dietitian with experience in health psychology and motivational interviewing.

MUST be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Test.

MUST be 18 years of age or older.

Ability to communicate effectively with participants of various cultures and backgrounds.

Ability to adhere to accepted medical guidelines/practices when providing health education.

Friendly, professional demeanor.

Physical Requirements Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.

Pay Range $45,000 – $50,000

Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part‑Time employees scheduled less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.
