Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards.
Oversee all quality control activities, including inspection, testing, and release of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
Lead root cause analysis for non-conformances and drive effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO 9001) and customer specifications.
Manage internal and external quality audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process efficiency, and reduce waste.
Lead, mentor, and develop the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
5+ years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
Proven expertise in implementing and managing ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
Strong proficiency in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and root cause analysis.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
Experience with specific industry quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485)
Experience implementing or managing enterprise Quality Management System (QMS) software
