Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and components in a manufacturing environment.
Install, maintain, and inspect electrical control systems, wiring, and power distribution equipment.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on industrial electrical machinery to minimize downtime.
Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for installation and repair.
Adhere to all safety regulations, electrical codes, and company policies, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Calibrate and test electrical equipment and instrumentation using various diagnostic tools.
Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human‑Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and other automation systems.
Recommended Qualifications
Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
Proven experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical systems (480V, 3‑phase).
Proficiency with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial control circuits.
Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Experience with motor controls, sensors, and instrumentation.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with PLC programming and advanced troubleshooting (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens).
Familiarity with robotics electrical systems, installation, or troubleshooting.
Certification or advanced training in thermography, vibration analysis, or other predictive maintenance techniques.
Proficiency in HMI/SCADA system configuration and support.
