Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, and equipment.
Troubleshoot complex electrical malfunctions in machinery and production lines.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Test electrical systems and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols, electrical codes (e.g., NFPA 70E), and company policies.
Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), VFDs, and motor control circuits.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical systems and machinery.
Strong working knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and other industrial control components.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety regulations, including NFPA 70E.
Experience with 3-phase power systems (up to 480V) and motor control circuits.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) programming and troubleshooting.
Certification in NFPA 70E Arc Flash Safety.
Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) installation and programming.
Familiarity with industrial robotics maintenance and troubleshooting.
