We are seeking a compassionate and caring Substance Use Specialist (Internally known as an IOP Facilitator) to facilitate impactful groups and provide support in our outpatient clinic in Whiteville, NC. Your Role in Our Mission The Substance Use Disorder Specialist (CADC or LCASA) provides screening, assessment, treatment planning, IOP coverage, and therapeutic services to adults and children with substance use needs. This role involves facilitating group therapy, collaborating with clinical teams and referral sources, and supporting clients through aftercare planning and community referrals. The SUD Specialist also ensures accurate documentation, supports crisis intervention, and promotes a safe, therapeutic environment. Services are provided under clinical supervision.

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive rate: Starting from $22.60 per hour for CADC and $49,000 per year for LCAS-A

What We’re Looking For
Skills:
Knowledge of therapeutic practices, group facilitation techniques, and problem solving and de‑scalation in times of crisis.
Licensure/Certification:
CADC required; provisional licensure preferred: LCAS-A.
2 years of experience in substance use services.
Maintain a valid state‑appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work.
