THERAPIST (MA/MSW)
Apply to the Therapist (MA/MSW) role at Roxbury Treatment Center, located in Shippensburg, PA. The position is full‑time and available on acute psychiatric units.
Overview Work with both adults and adolescents. Hours are either Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday. The role includes a $5,000 Sign‑On Bonus for full‑time hires. Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., offers 112 beds and acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services including an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13‑17.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Provide clinical social work services on a designated unit in alignment with Roxbury Treatment Center’s philosophy and objectives.
Conduct psychosocial assessments, individual, group, and family therapy, and develop psycho‑education groups.
Attend treatment team meetings to align treatment plans with patient needs.
Participate in management of patient commitment status, discharge planning/case management, crisis intervention, and liaison services with referral sources and other departments.
Complete timely chart documentation and progress notes.
Assist in crisis management, including assessment of patients and revisions to the care plan as needed.

Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology, or related social services field.
Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting.
Licensure is not required, but is preferred.
Knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age‑specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, and family therapy theory and practice.
