Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and calibrate industrial robots and robotic systems.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on robotic equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic cells.
Program and fine-tune robot movements, paths, and logic using teach pendants or software.
Conduct performance testing and validation to ensure robots meet production standards.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize robot performance and processes.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and system modifications.
Recommended Qualifications
Associate's degree or technical certificate in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
2+ years of hands‑on experience with industrial robot programming, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and PLC ladder logic.
Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens), and HMI.
Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Understanding and adherence to industrial safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
Bonus Qualifications
Advanced PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000)
Experience integrating and troubleshooting industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence)
Proficiency in advanced robot programming languages (e.g., FANUC KAREL, ABB RAPID)
Familiarity with CAD software for cell layout or fixture design
Certifications in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
