Advanced Nurse Clinician ENT Clinic at Children's South

In ENT Clinic South at Children's South Hoover. Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Shift, Dayshift hours all within a Monday-Friday 8-4:30 schedule.
Pediatric ENT Associates (PENTA) at Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham specializes in the diagnostic, medical and surgical care of head and neck diseases in infants and children. All five of our physicians are board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology with current Alabama medical licenses, actively publish in peer-review medical journals, and participate as teachers, presenters, and instructors both regionally and nationally. Our team of physicians, nurse practitioners and RNs work closely with audiologists, one-day surgery, radiology, sleep study clinic, and HEAR specialists to offer complete care for any ENT diagnosis. Our team performs specialized assessments and procedures in clinic including nasal/otic foreign body removal, auricular hematoma drainage, nasal endoscopy, fiberoptic laryngoscopy, nasopharyngoscopy, lingual frenulectomy, and maxillary frenulectomy with bipolar cautery.
Responsibilities The clinician is a professional nurse who is an expert in the care of a specified patient population/subspecialty area. The clinician assumes a leadership role and supervisory responsibilities in the development, organization, and implementation of care services for the specified patient population.
