Work schedule will be Part‑time (benefit eligible) on the Day shift, Mon - Fri 8:00a to 4:30p and/or 7:00a to 3:30p, 20 hours/week
Summary THE SPECIALTY CARE SERVICES STAFF NURSE is a professional nurse who assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Patients/families in his/her area.
Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications
Essential:
Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
Registered Nurse AL NLC Multi State
Registered Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State
Basic Life Support
Education with Equivalent Qualifications
Essential:
Bachelor of Science Nursing in Nursing or any of the following equivalent qualifications below:
Associate of Science Nursing in Nursing and 1 Year job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Nursing Outpatient
Experience with Equivalent Qualifications
Nonessential:
1 Year job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Nursing Outpatient
Includes six Board Certified Pediatric Nephrologist, 1 Board Certified Pediatric Hepatologist, 9 Board Certified Infectious Disease Physicians. Some specialty Services provided are renal and liver transplant, nephrotic syndrome, hematuria, ESRD and Post Covid Care. Academic Fellows, Residents, and Certified Nurse Practitioners also provide care in this area under the supervision of the attending MD. We provide an array of multidisciplinary services to our complex patients with chronic conditions including but not limited to: surgical, medical, pharmacy, nutrition, financial coordinator and psycho-social team (social workers, psychologists, family counselors, school teachers and child life specialists). Basic referral information is required for new patient consults and information may be requested prior to arrival for appointment related to symptoms, prior history, test and procedures performed.
