Key Responsibilities
Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
Design, develop, and implement manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to process, quality, and equipment.
Support the successful introduction of new products into manufacturing.
Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flow charts.
Implement Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles for continuous improvement.
Analyze and improve production layouts and material flow.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a process or manufacturing engineering role
Proficiency with Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement tools
Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for fixture design and process layout
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills for manufacturing process issues
Familiarity with various manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation technologies
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with robotics programming or automation system integration
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for production data analysis
Advanced data analysis skills using tools like Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau
