Required License/Registration/Certification Registered Nuclear Med Tech at time of hire; Basic Life Support certification via AHA within 90 days of hire.

Physical Requirements Lifting and pulling weight greater than 50 pounds. This position requires the ability to walk/commute to different areas within medical campus.

Shift Shift opportunities will be discussed during the interview process. Depending on level, employees must work a minimum of 96 to 216 hours in a 6-week period.

Job Summary This position’s primary focus is to complete a Nuclear Medicine procedure/therapy in a safe, efficient manner according to departmental, hospital, state, and federal guidelines. An experienced Nuclear Technologist is necessary to manage patient throughput, quality control, inventory, equipment evaluation and calibration, billing accuracy and regulatory compliance. This position will be responsible for executing diagnostic studies and interventional procedures by following unit policies/procedures for radiation safety, patient safety, radiopharmaceutical administration, QA, and imaging.

Level I – 96 hours any shift / 6-week schedule = $43/hour

Level II – 144 hours any shift / 6-week schedule = $51/hour

Level III – 216 hours any shift / 6-week week schedule = $59/hour
