Schedule Full Time (36 hours per week) rotating days, nights, weekends.

Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
Serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
Admit patients to NIC holding unit, performing assessments and completing required documentation per policy.
Educate patient and family members regarding scheduled procedures and related events.
Follow established procedures for performing non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing and cardio verifications.
Thoroughly assess the patient and their history to acquire appropriate data and perform appropriate testing.
Notify proceduralist of findings that warrant attention prior to procedures.
Provide care to patients post-procedure, implementing physician orders and readying patients for discharge or transfer to an inpatient bed.
Requirements – Licensure / Certification / Registration
BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition 'Compact State' obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at the time of hire.
