Schedule: Full Time (36 hours/week), Rotating Days, Nights, Weekends Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Location: Nashville, TN Compensation & Benefits

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient\'s discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Admit patients to NIC holding unit, perform assessments and complete required documentation per policy. Educate patient and family about scheduled procedures and related events. Follow procedures for non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing and cardio versions. Assess the patient and history to determine appropriate data and testing. Notify proceduralist of findings that warrant attention before procedures. Provide post-procedure care and prepare patients for discharge or transfer. Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date or transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current multi-state license (Compact State) obtained prior to hire date. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire. EEO & Compliance
