Purpose of this position
The Robinson Counseling Center’s Substance Use Disorder Program (SUD-Program) which provides Adult Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services is currently looking for an energetic and dependable person who works well collectively as a treatment team member. Adult Substance Use Disorder Therapist/Counselor position

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Skilled in motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy
Knowledgeable of supportive resources in Luzerne and Wyoming Counties
Ability to maintain a patient centered approach
Application of trauma informed care
Current knowledge of drug trends and their effects
Being well organized and adaptive within the work environment

Hourly & Salary Package
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degreeor above from an accredited college or university, with a Major in Chemical Dependency, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other related field which includes a practicum in a Health or Human Services agency
Certification as an addictions counselor by statewide certification body is also acceptable
One year of experiencing working with individuals with a substance use disorder is preferred
