Position: Registered Nurse- Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Job Overview We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team and work in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
Monitor and assess patients' conditions and vital signs, and report any changes to the medical team
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans
Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
Document patient care and progress accurately and timely
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing, preferably in a PCU setting
BLS and ACLS certifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Flexibility to work day, night, and weekend shifts as needed
