Position Summary
Patient Support Specialists assist at various offices within their region performing administrative and clinical functions in support of Primary Care technicians, opticians, and patient services representatives. Specific assignments will be dependent on workload and staff availability. Location and Travel
This traveling position supports Midwest practices in Oregon, Maumee, and Toledo. Mileage reimbursement is available with certain restrictions. Wage
Competitive wages starting at $16.50 and depending on knowledge and experience. Education and Experience
High school graduate or equivalent Previous experience in an optometry environment is preferred Competencies
Three aspects of a primary care practice training Detail oriented with strong organizational skills Proactive approach to training and learning Commitment to helping others Polite, professional, and courteous Leadership, motivation, and promotion of a team environment Adaptable and proactive Mileage paid every two weeks Physical Demands and Work Environment (per ADA guidelines)
Talking and hearing Sedentary work involving sitting most of the time Visual acuity to determine accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned Professional Development
