Electrical Assembler - Full Time with Benefits

Responsibilities Reading and interpretation of schematics (blue prints) Installation of wire harnesses, radios, break controllers, functional lighting, back up alarms, inverters, outlets, and other electrical components.

Major Responsibilities

Electrical experience required

Automotive electrical installation preferred

Install electrical wiring systems and components on trucks

Testing and troubleshooting electrical malfunctions

Use and conduct proper care of PPE

Read and interpret work orders

Use basic hand tools such as tape measure and specialty equipment

Learn and operate all equipment within the work area (cell)

Support APS (Altec Production System) initiatives. May participate in

kaizen

events

Willing to move to other work areas in order to support production needs. (Cross-train)

Testing of installed components

Follow established safety, environmental and quality policies, procedures and practices

Maintain work area and shop tools/equipment

Maintain daily time records

Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

High School Diploma/GED required

Ability to read, write, and comprehend required

Basic computer usage knowledge desired

Vocational Training in lieu of experience will be considered

Ability to read tape measure, blue prints, and schematics desired
