You'll work closely with a team of Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.

Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services (varies by office).

Your Role As a Tax Associate, you will become familiar with current tax theories and laws and perform procedures in accordance with firm standards, accurately, thoroughly, and timely.

Responsibilities:

Work on a variety of client deliverables including preparation of tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, and Corporate entities.

Identify potential tax issues and prepare adjusting entries and tax trial balances based on audited or client-provided trial balances.

Research filing requirements and tax issues using internal revenue code, treasury regulations, and other relevant authorities/guidance.

Manage daily client workflow and multiple client projects simultaneously.

Draft tax technical memorandums.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting.

Plan to complete 150 credit hours by September 2027 to be CPA licensed.

Minimum GPA of 3.2 in both major and overall.

Leadership positions in extracurricular activities are preferred.

Prior work or internship experience (accounting experience is a plus).

Excellent communication skills and sharp critical thinking.

Comfortable navigating fast‑paced environments and embracing change.

Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and eagerness to learn new technologies.

U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Salary for Maryland: $81,000, plus discretionary performance bonus, paid time off, parental benefits, and learning platforms.
