Pipelines Systems:
Network contains approximately 14,000 miles of pipeline transporting refined products, crude oil, and ammonia.
Terminals:
Owns and operates over 100 terminals throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Europe.
Summary Sunoco LP is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our Operational Accounting team in Dallas, TX. The Fuel Settlements Operational Accounting team performs end‑to‑end accounting and analysis for all fuel supply and bulk sales with various transportation modes, including pipeline, marine, truck, and rail, while ensuring accurate cost of sales and revenue reconciliation. This team is also responsible for bunker sales invoicing, truck transportation, RINS, broker fees, marine charter fees and billing, and the essential duties of this position are designed to ensure that all activities are captured accurately in the general ledger.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Research and gather information from the team to urgently identify and resolve issues and provide guidance to supervisors and team members in a timely manner.
Cultivates and maintains productive relationships with internal counterparts to enhance process improvements aligned with company goals.
Proactively engages in the learning and development of the Supervisors and team members on key systems and processes to support future growth and efficiency.
Promotes a culture of learning and development, encouraging team members to master various systems and manage workloads.
Manages issue resolution for the entire team accurately and with a sense of urgency.
Responsible for a high‑volume of accounting information moving between multiple systems.
Ensures the integrity of financial data by reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and leveraging technical accounting skills to analyze trends in P&L and balance sheet accounts while identifying opportunities for process improvements through innovative solutions.
Exhibits a record of sustained improvement in key metrics for the team.

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
8+ years’ experience.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Excel, and P&L Analysis required.
Technical Skills:
Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, or Robotic Process Automation tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
RightAngle, Salesforce, Power BI, and SAP preferred.
Working Conditions The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
Usually, normal office working conditions.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
Occasional overnight travel may be required.
