Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of IAM solutions, including identity governance, access management, privileged access management (PAM), and authentication frameworks. Translate business and cybersecurity requirements into technical IAM architectures aligned with enterprise strategy. Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and security operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of IAM capabilities across on-premise and cloud platforms. Define and enforce IAM technical standards, processes, and best practices in partnership with architecture and compliance teams. Drive automation of identity lifecycle workflows such as user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access certifications. Provide technical mentorship and oversight to IAM engineers and developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Serve as a technical escalation point for IAM incidents and complex troubleshooting. Maintain audit-ready documentation and reporting to support internal and external compliance efforts, particularly around SOX and NERC-CIP frameworks. Continuously evaluate emerging IAM technologies to enhance system performance, security, and compliance posture. Required Qualifications

8–10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on IAM design, implementation, and product deployment. Hands-on expertise with leading IAM platforms such as CyberArk, SailPoint IIQ / Identity Security Cloud, Azure AD / Entra ID, or IBM ISIM. Deep understanding of IAM protocols and standards including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and LDAP. Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, GitHub, or GitLab. Strong knowledge of cloud-native IAM services such as AWS Cognito, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault, and SailPoint Identity Security Cloud. Demonstrated experience working in Agile or DevOps environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or vendor-specific IAM credentials are preferred. Preferred Experience

Prior experience supporting IAM initiatives within regulated industries such as energy, utilities, or financial services. Familiarity with enterprise compliance frameworks including SOX and NERC-CIP. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex deployments and governance initiatives.
