VIAVI employees are passionate about supporting customer success and we welcome people who bring their best every day to the company – to question, to collaborate and to push for solutions that will delight our customers.**Duties & Responsibilities:****Core Expertise*** RF engineering, with demonstrated proficiency across the DC to 80GHz spectrum* FPGA design and development, with hands-on experience in RTL programming using Verilog and VHDL* Signal processing, with proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and HDL Coder* Navigation systems, including radar and direction-finding technologies* Embedded and high-performance computing, including system-level integration on ARM architecture and development on DSPs and GPUs using C, C++, Julia, and CUDA* Real-time machine vision, including hardware-software co-design for time-critical applications with demonstrated proficiency in building complete vision systems for operating in constantly changing light conditions and mirrored / reflective surfaces.* Advanced mathematics, especially matrix operations and high-speed numerical computing with proven records of implemented matrix processing methods**Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:****Qualifications*** 15+ years of hands-on engineering experience* Comfortable working across simulation, prototyping, and deployment phases* Strong communicator and collaborator, able to lead cross-functional technical teamsIf you have what it takes to push boundaries and seize opportunities, apply to join our team today.
